LCL161是口服生物可利用的第二个线粒体衍生的半胱天冬酶（SMAC）类似物激活剂，也是IAP（细胞凋亡抑制蛋白）家族蛋白的抑制剂，具有潜在的抗肿瘤活性，抑制 HEK293 细胞中 XIAP 和 MDA-MB-231细胞中 cIAP1 的 IC50分别为 35 和 0.4 nM。
