Discription

Cefpodoxime Proxetil is an antibacterial with a broad spectrum activity. It is an oral, third generation cephalosporin, ester prodrug of the active free acid metabolite Cefpodoxime. It is active against most Gram-positive and Gram-negative organisms. It is commonly used to treat acute otitis media, pharyngitis, sinusitis, and gonorrhea.
