Genipin是garden子果实提取物中的一种化学化合物。Genipin是用于蛋白质，胶原蛋白，明胶和壳聚糖交联的出色天然交联剂。此外，京尼平可用作药物递送的调节剂，garden子蓝色颜料制备的原料以及生物碱合成的中间体。体外实验表明，Genipin阻断了酶解偶联蛋白2的作用。
